Today the 2001 HOF class was announced and Roberto Alomar and Bert Blyleven were welcomed to the Hall. Blyleven slowly reached the required 75%, while Alomar rec'd 90% on his 2nd year ont he ballot. Next year it'll be nice to see Lee Smith, Larkin, and Jack Morris join them on a ballot that is light with any surefire first balloters. Frank Thomas joins the ballot in 2014 (with Maddux, Glavine & Jeff Kent). The pictures with the post were taken from a Jays game in 2007 in which Big Hurt homered twice to reach 507 and 508.
