Stamford's own Bobby Valentine has been hired as new manager of the Boston Red Sox. The hiring ends a most miserable few months for Sox faithful and leaves us with a sweet idea for a release party. Bobby V's restaurant (where he invented the wrap) is located less than ten minutes from our home. Cyrus watched the news conference with us where an emotional Valentine handled questions well. It looks like his winter traffic duty days will be put on hold while he gets the Sox back in order. As we are in the editing phase of the book we will have to look for ways to include Valentine.
